Gov will continue efforts to ban alcohol advertising

The battle lines have been drawn by the National Health Department in its efforts to tackle lifestyle diseases.
Minister Aaron Motsoaledi says it's time for citizens to mobilise and be more health conscious.
He said government was also set to continue efforts to have alcohol advertising banned.
Motsoaledi said the industry generated about R19b in South Africa, but it costs almost R40b
"South Africa, when you launch the Arrive Alive campaign you only count the dead, you don't count those who end up with us at hospital, for every one South African who dies on the roads 8 end up in hospital" he said.
