A mother from Cape Town has given the media permission to publish a video showing her being assaulted (allegedly) by her husband while she is trying to protect their young daughter.
The identities of the parties are being withheld because a minor is central to the case.

The successful businessman from Cape Town was arrested in 2018 and released on bail, however, when the victim was too traumatised to testify, the case was withdrawn.
It is now back on the roll and the husband, who cannot be named to protect the identity of his child, appeared briefly in the Belville Magistrates Court on Wednesday where the matter was postponed to the 16th of February.
