Limpopo police arrested two foreign nationals and seized two vehicles, one of which was hijacked, valued at over R1 million.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, said the arrests were made on Thursday.
He said a vehicle being smuggled into Zimbabwe through the Beit Bridge border post was being escorted by another vehicle when police pounced in Polokwane.
Ledwaba said the suspects were using the N1 bypass next to the Peter Mokaba Stadium when they were spotted by police.
He said initial investigation indicates that the vehicle that was being taken across the border, was hijacked in Brooklyn in Pretoria on Monday.
The two suspects are due to appear in court on Monday.
