Free State police have arrested two foreign nationals for allegedly hijacking a truck near Botshabelo on Monday.
Police spokesperson, Brigadier Motantsi Makhele, said the truck was travelling from Bloemfontein on the N-8 between Botshabelo and Thaba Nchu,
He said the owner reported the truck missing after he could not get hold of the driver and his crew.
Makhele said that the vehicle was tracked to Section H in Botshabelo where SAPS TRT members, working together with the tracking company, found the suspects busy offloading the truck.
He said the suspects, aged 32 and 35, will appear in the Botshabelo Magistrate Court soon on charges of truck hijacking and violating the immigration act.
