Western Cape police have launched a manhunt for the gunmen who shot and killed five people in the Endlovini Informal settlement in Khayelitsha in Cape Town.
According to provincial police spokesperson, Brigadier Novela Potelwa, unknown gunmen approached a group of shacks in the early hours of Monday morning and opened fire.
She says four men and a woman were killed.
Brigadier Potelwa says the deceased have not yet been identified but are believed to be between 25 and 35.
Police have instituted the 72-hour activation plan.
A 72-hours activation plan has been put in place.
