Five die in Gauteng minibus taxi accident

Five people were killed when a minibus taxi and a delivery vehicle collided in Etwatwa, east of Johannesburg, on Wednesday morning.

Netcare 911s Jeff Wicks says 9 other people were injured, four of them critically, when the two vehicles crashed head-on on the N12.

Wicks says the delivery vehicle overturned and rolled after the impact.
The cause of the accident is not yet known.
