Farmer and his attackers killed in North West

 A farmer and two men who attacked him have been killed near Leeudoringstad in North West.

Police say the incident happened on Saturday night when three men tied up two employees on the farm.

When the farmer arrived home he was shot dead and loaded into the boot of his car.

Police said neighbouring farmers responded after the workers freed themselves and raised the alarm.

Two of the robbers were killed and the third arrested following a shootout.

The arrested suspect will appear in court soon.
