Three people have died after their car plunged into the Richards Bay harbour.
Netcare 911's Jeffrey Wicks says the accident happened Monday afternoon when a man with a woman and two children entered the Waterfront area.
Wicks says exactly how the car ended up in the water will remain the subject of a police investigation.
Police divers were on the scene within minutes and retrieved the bodies of the man and the two boys aged three and seven.
The search for the body of the woman continues.
