JOHANNESBURG, July 13 (ANA) – Estate agent Vicki Momberg is expected to appear in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday over her racist rants aimed at black police officers, which was captured on video and went viral on social media.
In February Momberg was a victim of a smash and grab incident in Northriding, Johannesburg. In the video she appears upset and she says she does not want to be assisted by black police officers.
Using the K-word, Momberg belittles the officers, who remain calm and restrained.
Later, Momberg said she was traumatised after the incident.
The Human Rights Commission has also laid charges against her at the Equality Court.
Momberg will face crimen injuria charges when she appears in court.
