Eskom:No scheduled power outages for today

Eskom says there are no scheduled power outages for Monday.

Spokespeson, Khulu Phasiwe said Eskom expected the power grid to remain "moderate" throughout the day.

He says if they lose any generators, Eskom may be forced to implement load shedding.

Phasiwe said there's a medium to high risk of this happening.

He urged the public to use electricity sparingly and keep non-essential appliances and lights off.
