Eight lions killed in North West

North West police are investigating a case of illegal hunting, after eight lions were killed at one of the lodges in the vicinity of Swartruggens.

Provincial police spokesperson, Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone says the case was opened at the Koster police station yesterday.

According to police information, parts, including paws, were removed from the animals.

No one has been arrested and an investigation into the matter continues.
