EFF celebrates 5th birthday in EL

EFF leader Julius Malema called on his supporters to build strong structures in the party.

He addressed hundreds of supporters who packed the Sisa Dukashe Stadium in Mdantsane in East London on Saturday for the EFF’s fifth-anniversary celebration.

In a wide-ranging speech, Malema also called for discipline in the EFF, saying that they don’t want ill-disciplined people in the party.

He also said the EFF can be a home for the “dejected” and the “hopeless”.

Malema also called on the government to be vigilant in the face of the fourth industrial revolution, saying “robots” were coming to take peoples’ jobs.

He said South African children will become irrelevant if there is no investment in the fourth industrial revolution.

Malema also called for a peaceful election in Zimbabwe on Monday, saying the governing Zanu PF party must conduct the elections without intimidation or any “rigging”.

He also said the opposition MDC must accept the election outcome should it lose.

EFF leaders spent most of the this past week in the Eastern Cape, addressing communities in areas around East London.

On Friday, EFF national spokesperson Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, said that they were ready to govern after the 2019 election.
