At least 103 people have been killed in road accidents throughout the country over the Easter weekend.
The Road Traffic Management Corporation said up to Saturday night 103 people had been killed in 80 crashes.
However, the RTMC says the final report will be completed on Tuesday and released this afternoon.
In the Eastern Cape, at least 20 people were killed in 8 accidents over the Easter weekend.
Provincial traffic spokesperson, Tsepo Machaya says at least 36 people were injured...
"Around the Sterkspruit area to Zastron we had a collision where 4 people died. In Tarkastad a taxi overturned killing 4 people. In Qumbu a Toyota Venture overturned killing 5 people and then between Mount Fletcher and Maclear we also had an accident where 4 people killed" he said.
