The Department of Social Development has announced early payment dates for social grants.
The Department said Friday that the "payment cycle for December 2016 will start on the 28 November and end on the 15 December 2016".
"Funds will become available for collection at ATMs and other payment channels from 28 November 2016. Payment at pay points will start between the 28 November and 01 December 2016," said spokesperson, Kgomoco Diseko.
"Funds will be available for collection at ATMs and other payment channels until Sunday, 18 December 2016 at 16h00. The last date of payment
at pay points will be the 15 December 2016," said Diseko.
"The Minister and Deputy Minister of Social Development wish all social grant beneficiaries and their families a peaceful festive season and a prosperous New Year," he added.
