Durban police arrested two people found in the possession of a substance believed to be cocaine, as well as half-a-dozen firearms.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Robert Netshiunda, said they also seized a large amount of cash from the house in Glen Ashley in Durban North on Wednesday.
He said the two, aged 45 and 75, will appear before the Durban Magistrate’s Court soon on charges of dealing in drugs and the unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition.
Nethshiunda said the value of the recovered drugs is estimated to be around R1.6 million rand.
Police also seized six passports of different nationalities.
They are due to appear in court soon.
