South Africans could pay less for their mobile data in the next two months.
This after the Competition Commission found that mobile data prices are excessively high in the country.
The Commission released its final report on the market enquiry into mobile data prices on Monday.
The report reveals that MTN and Vodacom charge more in South Africa compared to other countries they operate in.
Deputy Commissioner, Hardin Ratshisusu says the Communications Minister must table the report before the National Assembly within ten days as required by the Competition Act of the Constitution.
If MTN and Vodacom, who dominates the market, does not comply they could face prosecution.
