A man in his fifties was found with a gunshot wound in his car which had crashed through a fence of a house in a Johannesburg suburb seriously injuring a 19-year-old woman.
ER24 said paramedics rushed to the scene in Princess Road in Claremont on Tuesday afternoon.
Spokesperson, Russel Meiring, said they found the man lying in the driver's seat of the car with a fatal gunshot wound while the woman was lying in the garden.
He said she had sustained numerous injuries leaving her in critical condition.
Meiring said paramedics administered advanced life support treatment on the scene before she was transported to a hospital for further care.
He said local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
