Cricket SA's board meeting, which was underway in Johannesburg on Saturday, is now working to a different agenda.
CSA spokesperson, Michael Owen-Smith says it was expected that the first item on the agenda would be the election of a new acting president, after AK Khan resigned from the position earlier in the week.
However, he says they have changed the order of the meeting, and are now dealing with the findings and recommendations of the ministerial inquiry, headed by retired judge Chris Nicholson, to suspend its CEO, Gerald Majola, for 180 days pending a disciplinary hearing.
Owen-Smith says a media briefing, which was scheduled for 12:30, was delayed until Saturday afternoon.
