A Danish national briefly appeared in the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court on Monday on two charges of sexual assault, contravening the national health act, and intimidation and assault, after female body parts were found in his fridge in his Langenhoven Park home.
Police arrested the man after his wife reported him to police, and upon inspection they found anesthetic medication, surgical equipment and photos in the house.
It is believed that he removed female parts of women from South Africa and Lesotho.
The 58 year old man, who owns a gun shop in Bloemfontein, allegedly lured the women to his house and then assaulted them.
Police are looking for the victims and have urged them to come forward.
He will will remain in custody until his next appearance on the 28th of September.
The court also heard the accused has outstanding warrants in Lesotho and Denmark. The investigation continues.
