The Democratic Alliance says it will be contesting the appeal by the National Proscuting Authority in the so-called "spy tapes" saga.
National Prosecuting Authority boss, Shaun Abrahams, said on Monday the NPA would be appealing a High Court ruling which set aside a decision to drop fraud and corruption charges against President Jacob Zuma.
He said the High Court decision had serious implications for the prosecuting authority.But, the DA which won the initial court ruling in the Pretoria High Court in April, said Abrahams' decision was a mere ploy to keep President Jacob Zuma from having his day in court.
DA leader, Mmusi Maimane, says they will not let the matter rest.
