Cuba calls for end to "economic blockade"

Cuban vice president, Eteban Lazo, has called for an end to the economic blockade of her country.

She was speaking at the opening session of the Global African Diaspora Summit in Sandton on Friday.

Lazo told delegates that Cuba joins the majority view of calling on former colonial countries to compensate their colonies for centuries of exploitation
