Two policemen accused of undressing and assaulting a foreign national have been granted bail in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court.
The policemen, David Gunn and Gerrit Januarie, were granted bail of R1500 each.
The were charged with assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The pair have also been suspended by Western Cape police management pending internal proceedings while the Independent Police Investigative Directorate is also investigating.
The two policemen were caught on video assaulting the man in the Cape Town CBD last week and the footage went viral on social media.
