Clampdown on abalone processing facility in Cape Town

The Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries says three suspects are expected to appear in the Cape Town magistrates court on Friday, after an arrest was made during a clampdown on an abalone processing facility near Atlantis, in the Western Cape late on Wednesday night.
Department spokesperson, Carol Moses.
"Officials from the Department supported the Hawks and officials from SARS confiscated over 21 000 units of wet abalone and three huge walk in freezers and several other abalone fishing gear equipment. Three people were arrested, two were from Mozambique nationals and one is a South African and they will all appear in the Cape Town Magistrates court" she said.
