The state has withdrawn charges of reckless and negligent driving against Bafana Bafana goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune.
His lawyer, William Maodi, says Khune will be administered to a diversion programme which will include him doing hours directed to community service and road safety awareness campaigns.
He says Khune will need to meet all the requirements or the charges against him could be re-instated.
Khune was caught driving at 173km/h in a 120km/h zone in January.
