Doctors have hailed the cloned skin transplant performed on a little girl as a success.
Five-year-old Celiwe Maseko went under the knife at Netcare Garden City Hospital on 25th April.
Dr Ridwan Mia, who performed the operation, said that Celiwe's cloned skin is taking successfully and that he's happy with the child's progress.
He says there's been no sign of infection or rejection.
Celiwe had suffered third degree burns to 35% of her body after a friend threw a match at her setting her dress alight.
