Two "cavers" who went missing on Table Mountain on Tuesday night have been found at their home.
Cape Town emergency services spokeswoman Keri Davids said the team were found "safe and at home, unharmed".
"They were unaware that there was a rescue team searching for them," she said.
The cavers were reported missing at 9.30pm on Tuesday after they failed to return to their car, which was parked at the Constantia Nek section of the mountain.
A member of the public had phoned in to report them missing after seeing an empty car in the parking lot.
A team of about 30 rescuers which included rescue technicians, climbers, cavers and medics spent the night searching for "missing" group.
Around 8am the rescuers found two bags outside the Giant Extension cave in the Wynberg area on the back of Table Mountain. (Sapa)
