The carnage on South African roads is continuing, as holidaymakers are making their way home this weekend.
On Saturday evening, six people were killed, and six others injured, in a head-on collision on the N1 near Edenburg, about 90 kilometers from Bloemfontein.
Netcare 911's Chris Botha says five adults and a baby died at the scene.
He says four people are in a critical condition, while two miraculously escaped with minor injuries

KZN emergency management services spokesperson, Robert McKenzie says two vehicles collided head-on.
He says two people died at the scene, while the injured were treated by paramedics before being transported to Ladysmith hospital.
The cause of the accident is unknown, and police are investigating.
