A Pietermaritzburg resident was left in shock after a vehicle crashed into his house on Saturday morning.
The driver had apparently lost control of the vehicle while on Kwapata Main Road in Kwapata, went down an embankment and crashed into the house.
ER24 said the 31-year-old driver suffered moderate injuries and was taken to hospital for further treatment.
Authorities are investigating the crash.
This is the second such incident in a week.
On Thursday another car smashed through the roof of a house in Kwamakutha Township in Durban in a spectacular crash after the driver said he had driven over a ramp of sorts.
No one was injured in that accident.
