An eight-year-old boy was seriously injured when he bashed his head on rocks at Silver Beach, in Port Edward on Sunday afternoon.
The National Sea Rescue Institute says the boy is in a serious, but stable condition in hospital.
NSRI spokesperson, Craig Lambinon says a 23-year-old Pretoria man was also seriously injured at the town, when his leg was crushed by a boat.
He says he too is in a serious, but stable condition in hospital.
Lambinon says rescue workers also had to help a 34-year-old man after a fishing hook penetrated his hand, and two men whose jet ski sank at Silver Beach on Sunday.
