Four people have been gunned down in the leafy suburb of Constantia in Cape Town.
Police Spokesperson Colonel Andre Traut says the bodies of two men and two women were discovered with gunshot wounds on Thursday morning.
He says the victims were believed to be of Bulgarian descent.
The Sunday Times has identified the victim as one of Bulgaria's most wanted organised crime figures, Krasimir Kamenov, who was killed alongside his wife, bodyguard and nanny.
Kamenov is wanted in his home country for murder and extortion.
Colonel Traut says detectives from the Serious and Violent Crime Unit are investigating the case.
This is the second person on Interpol's Red List to be found in Cape Town in a single day.
