The Border Policing teams from various provincial posts deployed at Beitbridge Port of Entry in Limpopo have been in full force since December.
The High-Density Operation "Vala Umgodi" has an uncompromising zero-tolerance approach to all criminal conduct.
Spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba says this operation aims to stop the illegal crossing of persons and goods and make arrests.

Numerous air inflatable boats, homemade wooden Ferris used for ferrying illegal immigrants and goods and even homemade wooden step ladders have been destroyed by the team including Millions of rands worth of illicit cigarettes.
Colonel Ledwaba says this operation is set to continue for months to come.
