The Boksburg bridge explosion death toll has risen from 34 to 37.
They are the victims of a massive blast on Christmas Eve in which a tanker carrying liquified gas got stuck under a low bridge and then exploded some 45 minutes later.
Close to 50 people are still in hospital.
Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi says he's deeply saddened by the rising death toll.
Of the deceased, 12 are healthcare workers from the nearby Tambo Memorial Hospital.
35 staff members were injured in the explosion as were 8 Ekurhuleni Emergency Medical Services personnel.
Meanwhile: An independent audit has cleared Infinite Fleet Transport of non-compliance linked to the deadly Boksburg explosion.
The audit has found that Infinite Fleet Transport - who owns the truck involved - had complied with legal and best practice requirements.
