Body of missing North West teen found in shallow grave

North West police have arrested the 23-year-old boyfriend of missing teenager, Karabo Monyama after her body was found in a shallow grave.

Police said the grim discovery of the body of the 15-year-old was made on Wednesday in the backyard at the man’s house.

He was arrested on charges of murder, perjury, and defeating the ends of justice.

Police in Cyferskuil in North West said that Monyama was last seen on Sunday when she left home to watch a soccer match at a nearby field, but never returned home.

The suspect is due to appear in the Moretele Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
