A 39-year-old man will appear in court on Monday in connection with the murder of a jockey.
Police confirmed on Sunday that the body of the 24-year-old jockey, who went missing at Turffontein race course in Johannesburg on Monday, has been found.
Police spokesperson Vish Naidoo said the police’s crime intelligence unit had received information which led them to a suspect who was arrested on Friday.
He said the suspect then led police to a place in Benoni where the charred body of the jockey was found.
