Body of missing girl found in refrigerator

The body of a missing nine-year-old girl has been found in a refrigerator at her home in Eersterust in Pretoria.

Gauteng police said the child was reported missing by her mother on Saturday evening.

Police constable Sam Shibambo says the girl's body was discovered at around noon on Sunday.

He says the child's stepfather was arrested and will appear in court on Monday.
