Defence Minister, Nosiviwe Mapisa Nqakula, says a board of inquiry into Tuesday's military plane crash should be concluded swiftly to determine the cause of the accident.
Three SANDF members were killed and two other seriously injured when the Cessna Caravan C-208 from 41 Squadron, crashed in Mpumalanga.
The caravan formed part of 41 Squadron that participated in an Operations Training Camp in the Lydenburg area.
Minister Mapisa Nqakula said she was saddened to learn of the plane crash and extended her heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims.
The names of the victims have not yet been released
