An arrest warrant has been issued for the managing director of a travel agency "Priority Escapes".
Francois Swart allegedly defrauded several would-be holidaymakers out of hundreds of thousands of rand.
AfriForum's Private Prosecution Unit represents two complainants who filed a criminal complaint against Swart at the Modimolle Police Station in August.
The pair approached the unit when they were not provided with the investigating officer's particulars to further engage on the matter.
The clients were allegedly defrauded over R130 000.
A spokesperson for the Unit Barry Bateman says Swart allegedly received full payments from the complainants who were furnished with false documents.
He says SAPS confirmed on Thursday that a J50 warrant of arrest had been issued.
Swart who offered holidays to the Maldives has since deleted his social media pages and website.
A simple search on Facebook shows several people sharing their ordeals with Swart, with one complainant stating that he ruined her honeymoon.
