The ANC website is still down following allegations that the party owes its website service provider millions. It is alleged that the party owes Unwembi Communication R32.5 million for developing and hosting its official site.
The service provider allegedly took the site offline last week on the instruction of their legal representatives.
The ANC has, however, refuted the allegation stating that the website is taken down because it is being redesigned and developed under the guidance of a new developer.
The service provider has demanded that the party makes a full payment in the next 14 days or it will take the matter to the courts.
Attempts to get more clarity from the party’s national spokesperson, Pule Mabe, have been unsuccessful.
