The ANC in the Eastern Cape has slammed the mooted coalition between Agang and the UDM as nothing but a marriage of desperate non-starters.
ANC head of elections, Mlibo Qoboshiyane, said today that the proposed alliance will amount to nothing because both parties lack leadership substance, policies and programmes to sustain the good work being done by the ANC.
He says there is no political organisation in South Africa that will ever match or exceed the good work of transforming, growing and developing done by the ANC.
Qoboshiyane says political parties preparing for the upcoming elections must not focus on kicking the ANC out of government but must rather present their own ideas to the electorate.
