to whom he introduced Kathrada over the years.

Pauletta Washington: “I'm emotional seeing Kathy’s beautiful face which his magnificent spirit shone brightly! He most certainly will be missed, but I'm inspired to carry His Spirit with me to continue the work! You know I loved and respected him and I know how it was received.”

Mary Tiseo of South Africa Partners in Boston, USA: “Such a sad day for so many of us. I especially think of you and your family, who Kathy loved so very much. What wonderful adventures he and Barbara had with you over the years, and Kathy so much enjoyed the world that you opened up for him through your work. I have been watching videos today, including yours. Thank you for making it possible to keep his memory alive.”

Well known South African personality, Prudence Solomon and her husband, Jerry Inzerillo in New York: “We are indeed saddened by Kathy's passing. He was a truly great man and I know you had enormous affection for him. South Africa was blessed to have had this great son who gave so selflessly to the country that he loved. Heartfelt condolences as we know Kathy was truly family to you as you were to him. We feel deeply blessed that we had so many happy times together.”

Michael DiCarlo, former Vice President of American Tower Corporation: “I was saddened this morning to learn of Kathy's passing. My most sincere condolences for the loss of your friend. I was in his company 5-6 times and I will never forget him.”

Christopher Sweeney from Toronto, Canada who was taken on a tour of Robben Island with his family by Kathrada in January this year said: “Anant, my condolences to you on the loss of a friend and an inspiration. I feel privileged that Meaghan, Grant and I got to spend an afternoon with him while he walked us through his old prison surroundings. It was very moving. I will never forget him.”
