Police have arrested Johan Kotze, who is accused of orchestrating a gruesome assault on his estranged wife and of killing his teenage stepson, Limpopo police said on Wednesday.
"He [Johan Kotze] was arrested in Modimolle (Nylstroom), more detail will follow later," said Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi.
Kotze, 51, had been on the run since the assault and alleged murder in Modimolle a week ago.

ON THE RUN KOTZE, FINALLY NABBED
The elusive Johan Kotze, who evaded police capture has finally been arrested. He was arrested this morning in Modimolle at about 11:45 . He has been on the run since last week after the murder of his step son and also forcing his three workers to rape his estranged wife.
The Provincial Commissioner- Lt General Simon Mpembe has commended a team of investigators who worked around the clock making sure that he is brought to book. General Mpembe pointed out that his arrest has brought a sigh of relief to the suspect`s estranged wife , her family and the community of Modimolle in general . He reiterated that the police have all the skills and capacity to track any person anywhere on the globe. The suspect will appear before the Modimolle Magistrate court soon.
