Alleged drug dealers busted with thousands of heroin capsules

Three suspects aged between 48 and 60 will appear in the Chatsworth Magistrates Court in KZN on Monday for allegedly dealing in drugs.

Police Spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbele said the three were arrested during a police operation on Friday while they were dealing in the Chatsworth area.

The 55 and 60-year-old suspects were in possession of 2 765 capsules of heroin, 140 Mandrax tablets and 48 pieces of rock cocaine.

Mbele says the third suspect is a 48-year-old woman who was busted dealing in dagga with an estimated street value of more than R10 000.

All the confiscated drugs have a combined value of R100 000.
