A Northern Cape man is expected to appear before the Christiana Magistrate's court on Wednesday to face a charge linked to the illegal dealing in diamonds.
He was arrested in the North West in possession of uncut diamonds earlier this week.
Northern Cape Hawks spokesperson Nomthandazo Mnisi says the suspect was arrested following a sting operation that was conducted by the Hawks Serious Organised Crime Investigation team.
She says they followed up on information that surfaced regarding suspects selling unpolished diamonds in the province.
