The former Bosasa boss Angelo Agrizzi's appeal to be granted bail was successful in the Johannesburg High Court on Friday.

Agrizzi has been incarcerated since the 14th of October when his bail was denied in the Palm Ridge Specialised Crimes Court.

Just a day later Agrizzi, who is on an oxygen tank, was admitted to hospital.

The Judge granted him bail to the full value of his property, including those in Italy.

He was further ordered to cede the title deed to his property in Italy to the State and hand over all his passports, furthermore, he was instructed to disclose all his assets, including those of his wife.

Agrizzi was arrested along with former ANC MP Vincent Smith.

Smith stands accused of receiving gratifications in the form of security upgrades to his home and cash transferred into his bank account via his business account for a company called Euroblitz 48.

Agrizzi allegedly approved these so-called gratifications.
