Advocate Malesela Teffo has been disbarred.
The High Court in Pretoria found that Teffo is not a fit and proper person and practising law would involve a danger to the public.
Teffo has been found guilty following 22 complaints of misconduct, fraud, theft, and the misappropriation of client funds.
The applicant, the Legal Practice Council, argued that Teffo had brought the legal profession into disrepute.
Teffo became a household name after his dramatic withdrawal from the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial making allegations that his withdrawal from the case, was part of a plan hatched in the office of President Cyril Ramaphosa.
He even went as far as accusing the Judge in the matter of being involved in witchcraft.
