An advocate whose clients have included Dr Wouter Basson, Jackie Selebi and the Waterkloof four, has been injected with an unknown substance outside the Pretoria High Court.
Advocate Jaap Cilliers walked out of the court on Wednesday after concluding a civil case, when he felt someone rush up to him from behind and felt a sharp sensation in his buttock.
Beeld reports that Cilliers was taken to a doctor, who confirmed that he had been injected with an unknown substance.
He was taken to a Pretoria hospital for blood tests, in an effort to establish what the substance was.
