Parliament's ad-hoc committee considering the Police Minister's report on Nkandla, will be paying a visit to the homestead of President Jacob Zuma.
Committee chairperson, Cedric Frolick, said the visit to Nkandla, which is scheduled for the 22nd July, would serve as a mechanism to assist Committee members when they evaluate the Police Minister's report.
He says Committee members will have an opportunity to deliberate on the outcomes of the site visit to Nkandla versus what is contained in the Police Minister's report in Parliament the following day.
Frolick says the adopted programme for the ad-hoc committee will kick off on 21 July with the Police Minister tabling his report before the Committee.
He says three days later the Committee will then get an opportunity to assess its work and make a determination on what should follow next.
