The wool market was relatively unchanged at this week's auction.
Cape Wools says its merino indicator closed at R99.06/kg for clean wool, down marginally on last week.
Spokesperson, Ona Viljoen, says long well prepared fleece wools were in keen demand and fetched good prices, with some types closing at higher levels than last week.
She says there was littled demand for the fairly large percentage of the short wool on offer.
Wool sales resume on the 9th of May.
