Eskom is implementing Stage 1 loadshedding on Monday till 4 pm before it will switch to Stage 2 until 10 pm.
The Power Utility said in a statement the pattern will more than likely continue on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Eskom implemented loadshedding throughout the weekend to allow time to replenish the emergency generation reserves which were depleted last week.
On Friday last week, two Eskom Managers were suspended after the country was suddenly subjected to Stage 4 loadshedding for two days in a row.
The outages were blamed on ten generation units which had suffered breakdowns at seven power plants.
Eskom's Group Chief Executive (GCE), Mr André de Ruyter, suspended the managers of Tutuka and Kendal power stations on Thursday pending a disciplinary inquiry.
Further interventions are ongoing at the Kriel and Duvha power stations.
