Mohair prices improve

Mohair prices improved at Tuesday's sale in spite of fears that a large offering would affect prices negatively.

Mohair South Africa says its market indicator gained 1% to close on R91.43 p/kg.

It says the overall sales clearance of 98.6% also reflected the strong competition amongst buyers.

A highest prices of R242.20 was paid for a bail of 25 micron good style summer mohair.

The next mohair sale is scheduled for the 24th of April
